Kundalini meditation is a form of meditation rooted in Kundalini Yoga, an ancient practice that aims to awaken the dormant spiritual energy that resides at the base of the spine. The term ‘kundalini’ refers to this coiled energy, often depicted as a serpent. Using a combination of breath, mantra, gentle movement and focused attention, we stimulate and raise this energy through the chakras, the energy centres in the body.
