On the last Thursday each month, Wendy Haynes and Asher Packman offer a grief and celebration circle, an intimate and confidential space to express the love and grief that may not be possible to share in usual circumstances.

This is a coming together of the village in a way that supports a sense of belonging and friendship — and is able to hold both the tears and the laughter.

We begin to see death in a different light as we drink from the deeper well of poetry and storytelling. It’s clear we can call ourselves into presence in no more powerful way.

Wendy is an award-winning celebrant with nearly three decades of experience at funerals, memorials, weddings, namings and more. She is the author of many related books and resources and is a teacher to celebrants around the world.
